The problem of seriousness in contemporary art
Contemporary art does not inform us about anything. There is more information in today's world than is necessary. We can find information in books, in photographs, in films, videos, in the radio, in magazines, newspapers, on the Internet, in a direct conversation, in telephone conversations, in short texts, and so on. Contemporary art examines the language of these messages.
